Greek life gives you the opportunity to create lifelong friendships, form career connections in and outside Mason, and have just a little fun on the side. Rush is an opportunity for you to meet the brothers and see what Zeta Psi is all about. We host a series of free events where you can interact with the fraternity at the beginning of the semester.

Every journey must start somewhere! We seek the best, most promising young men and host events during the beginning of the semester called Rush to determine if they would fit in our brotherhood.

Brother

The newly adorned brother has completed completed their metamorphosis. They now enjoy all the benefits of being Zete, and can now take positions to build the fraternity and educate the next generation.

RUSH FAQS

Q: How much does this cost?

A: Nothing is paid until you are a full brother. Dues paid to the chapter are directly used to fund events that benefit you. We regularly share our chapter's financial status with our brothers. The value you get from your money is much higher than the amount you pay.

Q: Do you haze?

A: Never. Hazing is extremely dangerous to the mental and physical health of anyone it directly or indirectly affects. It destroys the brotherhood that we seek to create. All brothers are required to attend annual hazing prevention training provided by GMU and our IH. All new members take this training before becoming a brother.

Q: Where can I sign up?

A: Our rush schedule is posted on our Instagram account, @gmuzetapsi. A phone number will be posted on our story on the day of these events to arrange transport. For any questions, or to get on the list for rush, DM us on Instagram or text our Rush chair at the number above.
